Fiddle panel in progress. This is a composite photo made of 13 images "stacked" with Helicon Focus software. Each image is an f/5.6 "slice" of the total composite. Photos were made with the Nikon D300 modified for high resolution by MaxMax. They remove the AA filter and replace it with one that doesn't take away from sharpness of the image. The lens is the Zeiss 100mm f/2 makro planar. With the Zeiss 100 at f/5.6 and shooting the fiddle panel at this angle, each image has a depth of field of only about an inch. You could just shoot the whole thing with one image at f 22, but the quality would suffer. And, besides, it's fun.....
