Blue hat: Elvyn Davidson, M.D. For 35 years in charge of the emergency room at Oak Ridge Hospital. The attending resident in charge the night Martin Luther King was brought to Harlem Hospital in N.Y. after he was stabbed with a letter opener. Dr. Davidson and his team removed the letter opener, which was lodged between King's left venticle and his aorta, with the tip against his left lung.
