This gallery will feature images from the Zeiss 55 f 1.4 APO Distagon. All images here are and will be made on the Nikon D800E. The gallery began on Nov. 14, 2013.
Nov. 14 was freezing here in East Tennessee, so bear with me; many images will follow. My first images here were all indoor at the East Tennessee Historical Society's Voices of the Land permanent exhibit. With the first images I've tried to provide some idea of detail and, with the image of the lantern on the 1902 Cadillac, a feel for the look of the same object at different apertures.
